Grayson “Grinchy” Gaylord has never liked Christmas in fact he loathes it. After a disastrous tree lighting ceremony he finally snaps ,so he sets off to steal it from all the residents of Who CIty. Using drones and gadgets a plenty he steals everyones Christmas. Of course he had minor problems with Little Cindy Lou Who ,but it didn't slow him one bit. He then sets off in a stolen garbage truck to the citys dump where he plans to dump all of the presents in the incinerator. He nearly dose until he hears the city come together and sing. At that moment  he finally figures out the true meaning of Christmas. It isn't items in boxes or bags it's about spending time with friends and family.
